Mastering the Art of Modern User Interfaces

React is the library of choice for building interactive UIs, and Next.js is the framework that makes it enterprise-ready (weighing the two? see Next.js vs React). By combining server-side rendering (SSR) with static site generation (SSG), we deliver fast load times and a strong SEO foundation.

At PixoBots, we leverage the latest features like Server Components, Suspense, and Edge Functions to build future-proof applications. We prioritize modularity, state management efficiency, and pixel-perfect responsiveness in every line of code.

Caching, Revalidation and Server Components

Where App Router projects most often go wrong, and how we avoid it.

Explicit Caching

Caching defaults have changed across Next.js releases, so we never rely on them. Each route is deliberately static, revalidated on a timer, or rendered per request. When editors publish in the CMS, a webhook triggers on-demand revalidation by tag or path, so pages update in seconds without rebuilding the whole site.

The Client Boundary

Server Components keep data fetching and heavy libraries off the browser, but one misplaced use client directive near the top of the tree pulls everything below it into the client bundle. We keep interactive islands small and pass only serialisable props across the boundary.

Server Actions Are Endpoints

A Server Action can be called by anyone who finds it, not just your form. We validate input and check authorisation inside every action, and keep secrets in server-only modules so an API key can never leak into a client component by accident.

Pixel & Bots

Pixel-perfect software, delivered at AI speed

PixoBots stands for Pixel & Bots. Our Bots are dedicated developers who work with AI tools: AI takes the repetitive work, a developer reviews every line, and the result is pixel-perfect.

Frequently asked questions

Next.js or plain React: which should we use? expand_more
Use Next.js when SEO, fast first load or server-side logic matter, such as marketing sites, e-commerce and content platforms. Plain React with Vite suits internal dashboards and apps behind a login where search visibility is irrelevant. Next.js adds server rendering, routing and image optimisation out of the box, which saves building them yourself.
Is Next.js good for SEO? expand_more
Yes. Next.js renders pages on the server or at build time, so search engines and AI crawlers receive complete HTML instead of an empty JavaScript shell. It also provides a metadata API, sitemap generation, image optimisation and tooling that helps you reach good Core Web Vitals. Good SEO still depends on content, internal linking and structured data, which we build in too.
How much does a React or Next.js project cost? expand_more
The cost depends on scope. The main drivers are the number of pages and templates, custom UI design, CMS or e-commerce integration, authentication, third-party APIs and hosting setup, so a marketing site is far smaller than a SaaS application. PixoBots quotes after a short discovery call and prices by milestone, so each phase is agreed before work starts.
Where should a Next.js app be hosted? expand_more
Vercel is the simplest option and supports every Next.js feature with minimal configuration. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or containers on your own servers also work well and can be cheaper at scale or required for compliance. We recommend hosting based on traffic, budget, data residency and the cloud your team already uses.
Can you migrate our app from the Pages Router to the App Router? expand_more
Yes. We migrate incrementally, because the Pages Router and App Router can run side by side in one Next.js project. We move routes one at a time, adopt React Server Components where they reduce client-side JavaScript, and keep the app live throughout. This approach carries far less risk than a full rewrite.
Can Next.js work with our existing backend or CMS? expand_more
Yes. Next.js is a front end that can call any REST or GraphQL API, so it pairs well with an existing .NET, Node, Python or Java backend, or a headless CMS such as WordPress, Contentful or Sanity. Route handlers can also act as a thin backend-for-frontend layer that hides internal APIs from the browser.
