Where we work from
PixoBots has been building software since 2008. Our head office is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with additional offices in Vadodara and Amreli, and a UK presence in Leicester. Client work is delivered remotely, with working hours aligned to whichever time zone the project needs.
Being spread across several Gujarat offices rather than one large campus has shaped how we operate. Written communication, shared repositories and documented decisions are habits we needed internally long before a client asked for them, which is part of why remote engagements tend to feel unremarkable rather than difficult.

What we build, and what we don't
Two kinds of work make up most of what we do. The first is client engineering: web, mobile, cloud, data and AI projects delivered as a dedicated team, as augmentation inside an existing team, or as a fixed-scope build. The second is our own product line, OptoSoft, which is optical software for retail, wholesale distribution and optometry practices.
Running a product alongside services changes how we approach client work. We have had to live with our own architectural decisions for years rather than handing them over at go-live, which tends to make a team conservative about clever solutions and serious about migrations, upgrades and the unglamorous parts of maintenance.
We are a small, senior team rather than a large agency, so we are candid about fit. If a project needs a scale of staffing we cannot responsibly commit to, or sits far outside what we have actually built before, saying so early is better for everyone than discovering it at the second milestone.
